Purchase supplies for your trip and unique souvenirs to take home

Contrary to its name, the Friday Market is open seven days a week. You’ll find a variety of goods here including local pottery, incense burners, traditional carpets, as well as potted plants and farm fresh fruit and vegetables. Whether you’re exploring the Al Dhaid area, driving to the east coast for mountain trekking, or delving into the history of UAE at an archaeological site, be sure to make a stop at this market for supplies. People en route to Khorfakkan, for instance, stop here for beach toys.

The Friday Market is a lively example of UAE culture, and shopping here is one of the popular things to do with children. Even if your family doesn’t have a shopping list, come for light food and drink before setting off on a dhow cruise, scuba diving or going on other adventures in the area. It is easy to access with stalls running right along the roadside, selling enticing grilled corn and coconut water straight from the husk.

How to get there

The Friday Market is located along the Al Dhaid-Masafi Road (E88) in Fujairah. Be sure to stop off if you’re exploring the central region or driving to the east coast.
