Sharjah Archaeology Museum

The museum contains archaeological artifacts discovered in Sharjah, shedding light on the inhabitants from the stone age until the rise of Islam.

With a treasure trove of pottery, jewellery and weaponry on display, the museum gives an excellent insight into the daily life of Sharjah’s ancient inhabitants. It features a great mix of models, interactive displays, informative exhibits and films.

There is much to delight history buffs, including a 2,000-year-old golden bridle discovered at Mleiha and the findings of a Stone Age graveyard that contained the skeletons of 500 nomadic herders.
