His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA, reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to participating in this exhibition, which aims to encourage UAE nationals to join the workforce, and use their skills and qualifications to benefit the tourism sector, among many other fields. H.E. went on to underline the importance of the National Career Exhibition, describing it as one of the most prominent events dedicated to improving employment rates in the UAE. “The Authority seeks to develop the skills and competencies of the national workforce, especially the young,” H.E. Al Midfa explained, “and to introduce them to the travel, tourism, and hospitality sector. The national workforce reflects the true image, identity, and culture of Sharjah to visitors from all backgrounds and nationalities. Emirati employees introduce visitors to the customs, traditions, and heritage of the emirate.”
