Sharjah Tourism Travel Quiz

Message to the Community

We will overcome this together

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) accelerates through the world, Sharjah reaches out to all residents and visitors with a message of safety and commitment.  These are exceptional times and we urge everyone to make health and wellbeing a priority and we thank the healthcare professionals and those who battle against the virus daily.

Strict controls and systems to limit public movement and prevent transmission of the virus have been put in place, including the necessary closure of the emirate’s attractions, destinations and postponement of events, while the global situation is being monitored. We remain committed to adapting rapidly and collaborating with all our partners and the authorities in formulating and following the most effective measures to diminish the negative impact of this crisis.

All nations across the globe are uniting in this effort and we will succeed with scientific innovation and compassion. During this time, the spread of the virus is curtailed by staying within the confines of your own home and those communities who stay at home are showing the best support possible for the greater international efforts against the virus.

Sharjah has been welcoming visitors from all over the world for thousands of years and once the world has overcome this present crisis, we look forward to welcoming visitors to our shores again, safe and healthy.

The time will come again to travel, before you do, please refer to official guides and websites prior to making plans.  Here are a few for your reference;

 Thank you and stay safe.
