A central art scene for those looking to learn and engage

Maraya Art Centre is the home of the Barjeel Art Foundation, an independent initiative that presents curated exhibitions from the collection of prominent art collector, Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi. There is also a free book exchange and a contemporary art space.

Attend exhibitions and lectures or sign up for one of the regular art workshops that are offered for all ages. Be sure to check out the Maraya Art Park, an outdoor sculpture park at Al Majaz Waterfront.

How to get there

The Maraya Arts Centre is located in Block E at Al Qasba, the leisure district on the canal between the Al Khan and Khalid Lagoons.
