A beautiful view of a sweep of sand backed by a bustling corniche, this inviting east coast beach has water sport options and is favoured by families.
Dotted with palm trees, swings and football goals, Khorfakkan is a 3km-long crescent beach set on a beautiful bay. There’s a busy commercial port at one end and the Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa at the other, which offers a full range of water sports, diving, fishing and boating activities.
Khorfakkan is situated 137 kms east of Sharjah, about halfway between Dibba and Fujairah.
Relax on the sand or swim in the clear, warm waters. There are huts about half way along the Corniche where you can hire jet skis, plus plenty of small boats to take you to nearby Shark Island, a popular hotspot for snorkelling and scuba diving.
