Kalba Conservation Reserve

Made up of mountains, woodlands, shurbland, mangroves and beaches, this reserve is home to water sports, wildlife centres and a picnic park.

Kalba Conservation Reserve is remarkable for the drama of its landscapes and the diversity of its ecosystems. It’s an evolving area that already encompasses the Kalba Bird of Prey Centre, Al Hefaiyah Mountain Conservation Centre and Al Hafiya Picnic Park.

Due to open shortly, Kingfisher Lodge will have luxury tents overlooking the ocean and mangrove forest. Future projects include a sea turtle rehabilitation centre where visitors will be able to observe nesting turtles and hatchlings.
