Water Sports

Home to warm waters, sheltered bays, pristine beaches and mangroves, you can enjoy a large variety water sports in many of Sharjah’s coastal area.

The emirate has coastlines on both sides of the country, offering watersport lovers the best of both worlds. Choose from palm-fringed beaches like Khorfakkan along the east coast or easily accessible city beaches such as Al Khan on the west.

Many of the emirate’s beaches boast watersports centres and most beach resorts have centres open to both guests and non-guests.

They offer a range of motorised and non-motorised activities such as parasailing, waterskiing, banana boat rides, fly boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing, beach volleyball and more.

There are also numerous tour operators that offer exciting days out, such as guided tours by kayak or paddleboard and snorkeling trips.
